Clothing Donation

Did you know that the average Singaporean throws away up to 31kg of laundry per year? Think about the add up!

The challenge is, it's not all necessary waste - when surveyed, two in three Singaporean cited that the main reason they are disposing their clothes is because they no longer fit, and they are generally not aware of how and where they can recycle their old clothes.

At Cleanly, we work hard to protect the environment, so while we're using environmental-friendly cleaning practices to remove stains and wrinkles, we are also working on the mission to encourage all to extend the life of their clothes by cleaning, protecting, repairing and altering.

Since 2007, we have been partnering with nonprofits in our neighborhood, and offer free clothing donation pickup to help you protect the environment. By dropping off your used garments at our store, you can reduce the amount of clothing waste that ends up in landfills while helping those in need

When you give us your clothes to donate, you can be assured that they will end up with those who need them. That is because we partner with the Movement for the Intellectually Disabled of Singapore (MINDS) and The Salvation Army since 2007,

You may be asking, why do we partner these organizations and why should I care who receives my donations? Each of our partners has a well-established reputation and promote causes that we can all get behind.

You can find out more about them here: Movement for the Intellectually Disabled of Singapore and Salvation Army here.

How to donate clothes with Cleanly?

We strongly encourage you to donate your gently used clothing to us during our Annual Holiday Clothing Drive! It's an easy and a great way to give back during the holiday season. If you don't have clothes to donate during the December holiday season - no worries! We accept donations year round.

All you have to do is give your clothes you want to donate in a paper or plastic bag when you are at our store. Make sure to mark the bag with a note that the items are for donation and/or notify our staff personally when you hand them the bag(s).

Note: Clothing Donation is a Free Service.
